The Allen's Thanksgiving

    My family has multiple thanksgiving traditions. We go to my grandparents farm and have the normal thanksgiving meal. When I say normal I mean turkey, dressing and gravy, green beans, and chocolate pie all the food you think about when someone says thanksgiving. My family would always get to my grandparents before my uncle and his kids. So I would talk to my grandparents about school and basketball. Then, when my cousins arrive we eat and talk. Then me my brother and cousins who are both 7 or more years older than me would go out on the farm with my grandpa. My brother Eric and my cousins would help my grandpa fix things around the farm since there all boys. Then when its started to get late we would all go home.

How to make a Funny Julius Caesar Video

   I choose to do a video for my project. It was a little bit stressful to find a time when I could get enough people to come help. I finally got some people and wrote a new version of Act 3 scene 1. It was just a modern version, so people had iPhones and wore the causal t-shirt and shorts. I got everyone in there right places then had to fix the lighting so u could actually see everyone. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I chose the video!

The Strange Adventures of my Childhood

I wish I was six again so I could do whatever I wanted and not care about what people thought of me. When I was six I would go to my grandparents and play in the mud with my princess dress on. I would also make cakes of mud and tell my parents to eat it. When I was six the only problem I had was not being able to eat all the sweets I want and going to the doctor. My older brother had go carts and I loved to drive the little one. I only ran into a tree about 3 times. I miss these years of excitment and fun.

My Favorite Bible Verse Isaiah 41:10

One of my all-time favorite verses is Isaiah 41:10. It says "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This verse shows how God is always there for you. He will help you find a way out of bad situations. This is a great verse that you can remember and when you in a tough situation so you know you’re not alone. God will help you and show you the good in it all. This shows how much he cares for each individual person. I just love this verse and knowing God is there for me.

Characterization of The Outsiders

I did my Prezi presentation over characterization of The Outsiders. Characteriation is defined as the act of describing the individal quality of a person. In my Prezi I compared Darry and Katniss who both are independent and tough but are very short tempered. They both want there siblings to have a bright future. My group took a while to figure out how you can all edit one Prezi at the same time but we finally got it. We  made a blank Prezi then looked at expamles of other designs of Prezis and choose one. Then we later learned that turning the frame made it look more like an animation because it turns into the frame. I learned that a book with no characters has no unique plot. I also learned that you should be more like Darry always protect family.

My Top Three Goals in 2015

This school year there will be many goals i try to reach. My top three goals are doing well in school, becoming closer to God, and have a better winning record in basketball. I will be trying to make all A's this year. This will require a lot of studying and concentration. Also, learn more about God by reading my bible everyday. I attend church every Sunday but don't do much else outside of church. This year I hope to read more and become more like Him. My last goal is to have a better winning record in basketball. Last year the team had about an even record. Close to the same amount of wins and losses. This year I hope that we can have a winning record that in noticable. These are my top three goals for this year.
